Welcome to our resources about Climate Change. You can download the leaflets (and the discussion materials which will be available soon). The leaflets can be printed back to back and used flexibly for personal study, for distribution in church or for church group meetings. Each of our leaflets contains a prayer or Biblical reflection, key facts, practical ideas for you or your church group to consider doing, and links to useful online resources. The discussion materials are extra ideas and contain links to useful short videos and websites that provide opportunities for discussion.

Reading Climate Action Network’s website is full of ideas, news and resources for acting locally on Climate Change. It includes their strategy for 2020-25 and an invitation to individuals and organisations (including churches) to sign their pledge to help Reading reach net zero by 2030.

Check out Reading Cycle Campaign’s website for news about sustainable travel locally. As well as buying from the many charity shops in Reading (or CEX), you can reduce what you consume new by using Reading Repair Cafe to make your old things last longer. Also, Hobbycraft and local sewing machine shops run basic sewing lessons. You can find lots of ways to reduce your energy use from Reading Draughtbusters.
