The Ringsfield Hall Trust
The Ringsfield Hall Trust is an ecumenical Christian charity which runs the Ringsfield EcoActivity Centre. The centre welcomes those of all faiths and none and facilitates groups of all ages, especially schools on their residential trips, in nature immersion and connection.

The Centre Director is required to live on site and a four bedroom cottage detached, rent free and with all utilities paid is provided. The job includes the management of the residential house (50 beds) and grounds, all the staff both the house staff and the outdoor staff. Currently there is a Housekeeper with a team of cleaners and cooks, as well as an Educational Coordinator and an assistant (both full time) and a group of some eight sessional workers. Also there is a part-time administrator to assist the post holder, a part-time book-keeper and a part-time site manager.
The job also includes publicising the work of the charity through traditional and web based marketing media; compliance issues; continuing the effort to engage the churches in creation care and nature connection; together with a high degree of hands on work with grounds, house and guests.
We are looking for someone who has the ability to think strategically, build and communicate the vision of the charity in a range of compelling ways and to inspire, challenge, motivate and empower others to carry the vision forward. Spiritual maturity and a radical theology are important. It is an occupational requirement for the post holder to be a practising Christian and be able to relate, not only to people from different Christian denominations, perspectives and viewpoints, but also work with those of different faiths and spiritualities.
