The Loving Earth Project
The Loving Earth Project offers a way to help people engage creatively and constructively with ecological breakdown, without being overwhelmed.
All are invited to make a 30x30cm textile square , illustrating something you love that is at risk or an action you are taking. Send them to join our touring exhibition, which will go to Glasgow in the autumn.
Stitches For Survival
Mass-craftivism to put the Earth centre-stage at COP26
Stitches For Survival is a group of knitters, crocheters, stitchers and crafters from across the UK and beyond with a heart-felt message to the COP26 climate talks to be held in Glasgow 1–12 November 2021.
We are knitting, crocheting, stitching and crafting 1.5 miles of climate messages for the negotiators to urge them to take bold and binding action together.
The length of the scarf represents the 1.5°C target in the Paris Agreement.
coat of hopes
coat of hopes is a travelling, community created, work of performance craft.
A patchwork garment made of embroidered pieces of blanket, created by a diverse range of people along a 500 mile walk.
Carrying stitched griefs, remembrances, prayers and hopes connected to their local landscape, to the gathering of world decision makers at COP26, in Glasgow.
