Green Christian is an organisation made up of members who want to do more to look after God’s gift of the natural world – and one thing we can nearly all do is put a few leaflets in our local churches – especially local “Touristy” churches.  People have more time on holiday to reflect, and to wander round churches. If your church is not one that can be left open to the public, then find one that is, and ask if you can put a few leaflets there.  Order our newly printed  7Rs leaflet,   or a selection of Nine Ways, LOAF and Eco-Checkup for Churches leaflets and Storm of Hope A4 pamphlets   (See some examples here).     Email your order here. Leaflets are free but we welcome  donations towards postage and costs of leaflets.

We are making the 7Rs leaflet in the “Three-fold, or triptych or DL format” useful for some churches which only have space for narrow leaflets.

For some of us this dry spell is fun, and interesting to see how nature responds. But for farmers who are now feeding cattle the silage they just cut in May, because the grass in the field is not growing because of the heat and drought, it is not fun.

All the best for the School Summer Holiday period. Even though it is late, there are still new flowers coming out – Harebells, Scabious, St John’s-worts, Willowherbs.
