Greenbelt 2012

CEL was – as ever – present at the Greenbelt festival in Cheltenham.

We again shared space with other ‘green Christian’ organisations – A Rocha, Quiet Garden Movement, Climate Stewards and John Ray Initiative.

Despite the occasional torrential rain, it was a great weekend and we made lots of contacts with old friends and new. There was even a torrent flowing through the G-Source tent, good job we were with Operation Noah.

Like last year, CEL members presented sketches and reflections on climate change, highlighting the role which our ecocell programme can play in bringing people together to support each other in reducing our carbon emissions.
