I am the vine -& naming local tree branches

Judith Allinson writes:

Last Sunday’s Messy church theme in Settle was “I am the Vine and you are the branches” – we made a poster with local tree leaves and branches.

Many people know the name oak, elm and ash.

Can you identify oak elm and ash?

This chart should help.

Why not make a display at your church?

and which species are missing?

I have found another willow (purple willow)  since then – and we still ought to add sycamore, beech, hazel, bird-cherry, rowan, sloe and whitebeam as they are  trees and bushes that grow in the countryside around here.
