This is a clear outline of what we humans need to do urgently and effectively to keep fossil-fuels in the ground. Nicholas Stern is one of a rare breed, an economist who has made a special study of climate change and its human causation. He is also a grandfather and the end of this video shows his concern for his grandchildren in a quite beautiful way. I am a grandfather and what he did and said brought me to tears. The more I think about it, our 'owning' of the roles of parent or grandparent/elder is probably our greatest motivation in changing our own behaviour and challenging the short-term perspectives of government, finance and business.
