Our Favourite Campaigns

‘Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute.’ Proverbs 31:8
There are a plethora of campaigns trying to speak truth to power at this critical time. Here are our favourites:
Stop Rosebank
If we want a liveable climate, we can’t allow any new oil and gas projects or licences. The UK must reject Rosebank and all new oil & gas fields.
Each new field delays a just transition to renewable energy and locks us even further into an expensive, climate-wrecking energy system.
Call for the Climate and Nature Bill
We want the UK to demonstrate genuine climate leadership in taking meaningful action commensurate with the unfolding emergencies.
The campaigners at Zero Hour have not given up. Let’s show our support for this radical and truth-telling legislation and demonstrate public and political support for radical action.
Planning and Infrastructure Bill
The government’s proposed new Planning and Infrastructure Bill wipes out protection for God’s creation in this country. If you want to let the government know you do not think this is right, The Wildlife Trusts have a letter to co-sign and the opportunity to write to your local paper.
Rescue Britain’s Rivers
River Action knows we are facing a freshwater emergency. Our rivers are on the brink of collapse plagued by a toxic cocktail of sewage, agricultural and chemical pollution.
If you want to see Britain’s rivers clean and thriving, there are many actions you can take to make a difference.
Campaign for the Local Electricity Bill
The potential for community renewable energy to benefit local economies is being blocked by unfair regulations and hugely disproportionate costs.
Make Polluters Pay
Polluters caused this crisis – it’s time they paid for it.
Burning fossil fuels made northern nations and fossil fuel corporations rich – it also cost us our planet.
But those who did the least to contribute to the climate crisis are now paying the price. We’re here to change that.
We say if you pollute, you pay for loss and damage. It’s just that simple.
Stop EACOP
French oil giant Total and the China National Offshore Oil Corporation are on the cusp of building a massive crude oil pipeline right through the heart of Africa – displacing communities, endangering wildlife and tipping the world closer to full-blown climate catastrophe.
The East African Crude Oil Pipeline needs to be stopped and there is a plan to do exactly that.
