Woodland Trust’s Nature’s Calendar project needs your records

CEL member and Local Groups Coordinator, Isabel Murdoch, writes:

Would you like to record the timings of spring and autumn events in the natural world for the Woodland Trust’s phenology team as I do, and so contribute their research? You can record as few or as many events as you like: just dates, from bud burst on an ash tree the last sighting of a swallow. Recorder figures are falling, so the Woodland Trust needs more willing observers to register as a recorder (free of charge)  go to naturescalendar.org.uk (or write to Nature’s Calendar, the Woodland Trust, Kempton Way, Grantham, NG31 6LL for paper survey form).

Thank you if you are able to publicise this. I think is that the research is quite worthwhile and I enjoyed recording the events.
