Show the Love!
It’s February! The Climate Coalition’s Show the Love month, where people from all walks of life will use the power of green hearts to show decision makers that we want to see urgent action to tackle climate change, protect nature and bring down bills.
Green Christian are encouraging everyone to do three things
1. Get all our churches praying for the climate on Sunday 12 February
2. Ask church members to email their MPs
3. Get a group together to make green hearts, or postcards, to post to our MPs, calling for climate action
Making your green hearts
- Get a group of friends together, decide on a date, invite the church
- Ask people to bring green card, felt, fabric, buttons, stickers, needles, threads, safety pins
- Cut out heart shapes in the green card, felt or fabric and decorate them with pens, stickers, buttons etc. It’s up to you what you would like to do!
- Make enough to wear AND to post off to your MP
- Wear your green heart all February and tell people why!
