Strawberry Cream Tea and Open Garden for Rainforest Fund
Sunday 17th June from 3pm to 5 pm: St Edmund’s Church, Roundhay, Leeds is holding an Open Garden event at 40, The Avenue, Roundhay, Leeds . The group are are raising money for the World Land Trust project to buy an area of Ecuador’s remaining Rainforest. There will be tea, coffee, strawberries and stalls with books and local produce and bring and buy.
“If you live near Leeds, do come” says Dr Jill Vogler.
And if you live further away, why not host an event yourself.?
St Edmund’s will be the sixth Church to raise money for the CEL Rainforest Fund project.
In this project CEL is hoping to find 100 churches who will raise £100 (or more) for projects which save rainforest and other habitats of biodiversity importance.
