Mike Berners-Lee runs a consultancy (Small World Consulting) in Lancaster .
He is a professor and fellow of the Institute for Social Futures at Lancaster University and director and principal consultant of Small World Consulting, based in the Lancaster Environment Centre at the university. He researches sustainability issues and has carried out an audit of many organisations including Booths supermarkets.
The Leeds Diocese used his firm to make a programme to be used for working out Church Carbon footprints, which Judith Allinson (GC webeditor) has tried out at St John’s Church, Settle)
