Three COP Outcomes We Can’t Live Without!
Zero Hour (previously the CEE Bill Campaign) are asking MPs to push for three critical outcomes from the UN summits coming up: the climate summit COP26 starting in Glasgow on November 1st and the biodiversity summit COP15 in Kunming, China, scheduled for early next year. The outcome asks are:
- Create a Joint Emergency Strategy for Climate and Nature
- Commit to the Carbon Budget for 1.5C
- Go Nature Positive by 2030

Zero Hour recently held a panel event, Chaired by Sir David King and attended by MPs, to explain to MPs the multiple threats that we now face from climate change and Earth systems breakdown. Sir David King was joined by climate scientist Prof Kevin Anderson; conservation ecologist Prof EJ Milner-Gulland, and ecological economist Prof Tim Jackson.
