Eco Church
Eco Church has lots of age-appropriate resources that fit into the Eco church framework. Here are their materials for children.
Greenopoly
Greenopoly is Operation Noah’s Climate Solutions game, which you can download for a small donation. Operation Noah campaigns for Churches to invest more in areas that help the climate such as clean energy and sustainable agriculture.
The game is a fun way to learn about the exciting range of climate solutions available, see their blog about playing Greenopoly at Greenbelt Festival in 2024.
Climate Feelings
This is Christian Aid’s resource for all ages (including children) around climate emotions: Climate Feelings.
Climate Justice Toolkit
The World Council of Churches has a Climate Justice Toolkit with suggestions and good practices for Sunday schools, church-run schools and summer camps to implement the “Churches’ Commitments to Children”. They want children and youth in churches to get informed, get inspired and take action.

From the US-base Catholic Climate Covenant, God’s Creation Waits is designed to help children understand faith and environment.
Salvation Army
The Salvation Army has video and lesson plans for KS2 Ages 7-11
- Adaptable lesson resources that explores the effects of climate change and highlights how The Salvation Army is helping to combat it.
- Bring hope: Show pupils that positive actions are happening around the world, fostering a sense of hope.

Messy Church is a way of being church for families and others. It is Christ-centred, for all ages, based on creativity, hospitality and celebration.
Muddy Church
Muddy Church is a place for people to gather together, outside and to connect with the space and God.
This site is full of resources designed for use by individual groups – these are all available free to download or use online (there are pre-printed copies available to buy).
Godly Play and Outofthebox
Membership is required to access the stories in Godly Play and Outofthebox. Both have some creation care stories. Many churches will be familiar with this curiosity led approach to storytelling and some will have members who have access to the stories.
