Tue 15 Sept 2026: Deep Waters: 8-week course, Tuesdays 15 Sept – 3 Nov , 7.00pm to 8.30pm. Do you need a safe space in which to share your complex responses to the climate and ecological crises? Deep Waters run by Green Christian begins again on Tuesday 15 September. In eight sessions, we will explore topics such as anxiety, grief, justice, lament, wisdom, love, and the meaning of hope. This successful programme has helped many people.

1-6/8 Oct: Re-Creation: Holiday course at Boarbank Hall, near Grange-over-Sands, Cumbria, Home of the Canonesses of St Augustine. Re-energise your commitment to living your faith in hope in a world of ecological challenges. Talks, fun, conversations, art, liturgy, gardening, walks. All welcome.
Wed 7 Oct: 7pm: Green Christian Zoom workshop: Rosie Venner, Director of Movement Building for Just Money speak about Ethical purchasing (for churches and for people), and specifically about Just Money Movement’s Challenge Amazon: Break the Habit, Fix the Rules – JustMoney Movement campaign.

9-20 November: COP31 is the United Nations Climate Change Conference taking place in Antalya, Türkiye. Each morning Green Christian will have a ten minutes prayer time at 8am about the coming issues to be dealt with at COP that day.

26 Dec: Annual Boxing Day Fountains Abbey 4 mile pilgrimage from Ripon Cathedral to Fountains Abbey. (preceded by optional St Stephens Day Communion service at the Cathedral) – and finishing with carols and the Brass Band in the Cellarium (… and then another 4 mile walk back to Ripon!!)
