The Creation Care Hub
New Wine ran from 30 July to 4 August 2025 at the Bath and West Showground.
Climate Stewards, A Rocha UK, Green Christian and Operation Noah hosted The Creation Care Hub at New Wine this summer.
Wherever you are on your discipleship journey, this was the place for inspiration, advice, resources and tools to help you and your church care for God’s world.
With a new “Question of the day” every morning, festival-goers were drawn to our stall to chat about how their faith leads them to care for creation and how our charities can help them do that.
We also had the privilege of having a space in the new Prayer Tent to help people simply pray for God’s beautiful creation.
Below is some information on each of the Christian groups supporting the New Wine Creation Care Hub, and how you can get involved:
Climate Stewards
For people and planet – join us on the journey to Net Zero.
We believe that God calls us all to be good stewards of his earth. We are passionate about helping people to measure, reduce and offset their carbon footprint, while supporting our global neighbours to adapt to the impacts of climate change. We provide free online carbon calculators for churches, charities and small businesses. We also offer tailored carbon footprint audits and creation care advice to NGOs and other larger organisations.
Rocha UK
Caring for the earth and demonstrating the Christian hope for God’s world
A Rocha UK is a Christian charity working to equip Christians and churches to protect and restore the environment – for God, nature and all people. We aim to inspire individuals and families, equip churches and church leaders, build partnerships and manage land for nature and people.
A Rocha UK’s Eco Church programme provides a framework to support your church and its leadership to take practical action on caring for God’s earth.
In the face of accelerating climate change and species loss, we need more than ever to take action to protect and care for nature today.
Green Christian
Green Christian is a group of ordinary Christians from all backgrounds and traditions. Inspired by our faith, we care for creation through prayer, action and encouragement.
Whether you are a church leader or church leaver, a campaigner or contemplative, a worrier or warrior, we can help you be a change-maker in your church, your country or just your own life.
Operation Noah
Operation Noah is a Christian charity working with the Church to inspire action on the climate crisis.
We believe that the Church has both a huge responsibility and an exciting opportunity to respond to the climate and nature crisis in a way that is faith-motivated, science-informed and hope-inspired. After the success of our fossil-fuel divestment campaign we are now focusing on encouraging churches to invest in climate solutions and to use their land for the good of climate and nature.
We also help run the Big Bank Switch – which invites Christians to align their money with their values by switching from a bank that funds fossil fuels to one that doesn’t.
