“Do not take the place of honour”
A talk about how Christ’s teaching in Luke 14:1 and 7-14 might be applied to not only humans but to all of creation. Given by George Dow, Green Christian Chair, at St Mary’s Church, Penzance on 31 August 2025.
This is a 15-minute talk on the eve of Creationtide, taking the Gospel reading for that day and wondering how it may be applied to not only humans with whom we share our lifetimes on earth, but also to all our neighbours in creation both human and non-human, including animals, plants, land and sea.
