“Go and do likewise”

A talk about why and how we might respond to the climate and nature crises. Given by Information Officer, Ruth Jarman, at All Saints, Westbury-on-Trym, June 2025

This is a 13 minute talk suggesting why Christians might want to nurture and protect the natural world. Because it is our motivation that will then be able to carry us through the many obstacles to action – our culture, economic pressures, the “it’s too late” and “what we do makes no difference”. I move quickly on to the “so what do we do?”

I know people, especially us Christians, do tend to be “nice”, so do take this with a pinch of salt, but I was told after the service that the talk was enjoyable, riveting, challenging and hopeful.
