26 Dec: Annual Boxing Day Fountains Abbey 4 mile pilgrimage from Ripon Cathedral to Fountains Abbey. (preceded by optional St Stephens Day Communion service at the Cathedral) – and finishing with carols and the Brass Band in the Cellarium (… and then another 4 mile walk back to Ripon!!)

Tue 20 Jan 2026: Deep Waters Zoom course begins Do you need a safe space in which to share your complex responses to the climate and ecological crises? The 8 session Green Christian “. Tuesdays 20th January – 10th March 2026, 7.00pm to 8.30pm.
Early Feb: Possible start date for the next Cloud and Fire programme Cloud and Fire explores new dimensions – emotional, pastoral, spiritual and moral – of human life in the Anthropocene and in the shadow of existential climate risk. It is intended to enable those in Christian ministry (e.g. clergy, spiritual directors and members of religious communities) to deepen their theological, spiritual and pastoral responses for the new realities.
