Stop Rosebank
Help Andy Burnham and Miatta Fahnbulleh do the right thing on the Rosebank oil field
We now expect the Rosebank & Jackdaw decisions to be any day now.
With Zero Hour and Stop Rosebank, we’re asking Andy Burnham and the new Energy Secretary, Miatta Fahnbulleh, to:
- Meet the UK’s international climate and nature commitments
- Pass the Nature + National Security Bill in this Parliament
- Reject all new oil and gas licences, including Rosebank, and deliver a just transition
And you and your church can do this in 2 ways:
1. Pray – we are called to pray for our leaders (1 Tim 2:1). Ask whoever is doing your intercessions to pray that he will walk into Downing Street with the moral fortitude to do the right thing at this moment of climate and nature crisis
2. Email your MP. Ask your MP to write to the Chancellor about Rosebank
