Looking Upstream with Trussell

How can we support a long term cure, as well as the short term “sticking plaster”, for hunger in our communities?
Phil Callaghan is the Church Community Development Manager at Trussell (formerly known as the Trussell Trust). He is responsible for Trussell’s partnering with churches – the vision being to end hunger today, together, and forever. Prior to this he held various roles with Christian organisations working for a more just society. Phil explains Trussell’s expansion of its activities, which include supporting foodbanks across the country, to an added focus on the root causes of food poverty: why it exists, and what we can do to combat it.
