Climate Crisis: What Would Jesus Do?

This is the first post-lockdown in a series of regional days with Green Christian and local communities to deepen ecological discipleship, mobilise for change, and build common cause for creation.

The day is open to all who are interested in discovering how we might better pray, live, witness and support each other in this time of crisis.

Please bring your own lunch and your own mug if you can. Drinks will be provided. 

Booking is essential as space is limited.

Climate crisis and youth activism

Shilpita is an environmental economist. She is currently a member of the Young Christian Climate Network (YCCN) and a trustee of Operation Noah.

Workshops to choose from:

  • Joy in Enough, including “Plenty!”: building a just economy within ecological limits.
  • Way of Life Community: Green Christian’s own dispersed community for those wanting a deeper engagement and shared encouragement in their faith.
  • Climate, finance and divestment.
  • Carbon Footprint: calculate your own carbon footprint – and reduce it if you can.
  • Biodiversity (our own gardens, window boxes etc).
  • Biodiversity (churchyards, parks, countryside).
  • A Deep Dive into Exodus 1 and 2: our call to nonviolent direct action
