On the Road Together in Dronfield

Join us as we seek ways to care for creation and to make the necessary lifestyle changes both as individuals and as nations.
Please bring something to share for lunch. Drinks will be provided.
Cost free – but donations on the day are welcome.
The day will including sessions on:
• Joy in Enough – Awakening to a New Economics. Joy in Enough is a challenge to join in building a just economy while being mindful of how it impacts on our fragile earth and its inhabitants.
• The Green Christian Way of Life. How Prayer, Living Gently on the Earth, Public Witness and Encouragement equips and aids us for our ongoing journey.
Weather permitting there will be an opportunity to experience the Lea Brook Valley, a local nature reserve.
Draft programme
9.30 am: Doors open, stalls, tea and coffee
10.00 am: Welcome, introduction, worship
10.20 am: Joy in Enough workshop
12 noon: Nature walk, stalls, quiet time
12.45 pm: Lunch
1.30 pm: Way of life workshop
2.45 pm: Where do we go from here?
3.15 pm: Worship
3.30 pm: End
Getting there
Bus
The Stagecoach 43 bus which runs from Sheffield to Chesterfield stops within 50 yards of the Church. Ask for Dronfield Sainsburys. The church is opposite the entrance into Sainsbury’s car park.
There is a bus scheduled to leave Sheffield Flat Street at 0826 which will arrive in Dronfield at 0855 and from Chesterfield, Cavendish Street at 0842 arriving in Dronfield at 0916.
Train
There is a train from Nottingham at 0817 calling Chesterfield then at Dronfield at 0901 and a train from Sheffield at 0906 calling at Dronfield at 0916. It is about a 10 minute walk from the Station to the church.
By car
Parking is available in the Sainsbury’s car park, opposite the church, which has no time limit and is free. There is a drop off point and room to park one or two cars at the front of church but these must display a disabled badge.
