Who profits? Acting justly with our spending
Every time we spend money, we are part of a wider economic system. Who benefits from our spending, and who might be paying the hidden costs? In this talk/workshop Rosie Venner from JustMoney Movement explores how our spending choices can be part of our wider advocacy for a fairer, greener, more hopeful world. Drawing on the example of JustMoney Movement’s Challenge Amazon campaign, we explore ways that churches and individuals can use their spending power to challenge corporate power, and support businesses and systems that enable people and planet to flourish.
