United for people, climate and nature
Join the mass lobby of Parliament, Saturday 12 October
On Saturday, 12 October, thousands of people around the UK will meet with their MP to find common ground on the climate and nature issues important to them.
This is your opportunity to connect with your community, tell your story, and urge your MP to champion climate and nature issues you care about. Together, we can create a fairer, healthier, greener future.
The Climate Coalition have put together some fabulous easy-to-follow resources to help you contact your MP and plan what to say when you get there. You don’t need to ask for what they suggest, in fact the way the campaign is set up all organisations have the same basic ask – to create a fairer, healthier, greener future – but the specifics of how to do that is up to us.
We would like to propose that you ask your MP to support the Climate and Nature Bill and the Local Electricity Bill.
There’s also a Rally for the Climate and Nature Bill on Wednesday 27 November. Perhaps when you write to your MP you could suggest this as an alternative date for them.
Let us know if you’re coming to either of these event or simply want to chat about how to get involved.
