2024 Annual Members Meeting

What does it mean to be a leader of change?
Saturday 9 November, 2 – 5 pm
Bring and share lunch from 1 pm
St Andrews Lower Hall, Short Street, London SE1 8LJ, near Waterloo Station
Come and hear what Green Christian has been doing over the past year, and explore with us this year’s theme: “What does it mean to be a leader of change?”
After a bring-and-share lunch, there will be a workshop asking “What does it mean to be a leader of change within the church and for the church in the community?”
Are we really ‘walking the talk’ as a church in our care for creation? Do we have the skills to talk about really difficult truths? If we don’t talk about what’s coming (and for some, what’s already here) in terms of climate collapse, do we do a disservice to our congregation and others?
Our Green Christian Churches Project aims to help us all engage more with our own church communities on environmental and justice issues.
All welcome.
