A Passion for the Earth: Green Christian On the Road Together in York

Green Christian is going to York! If you are nearby, or visiting, join us for a day of workshops, discussion, stalls & worship to encourage our communities, build common cause for creation & inspire ambitious change.
Tea, coffee and cake provided
Please bring a packed lunch, and your own mug if you can.
The day will include…
• Joy in Enough – a chance to sample Plenty!, a discussion course challenging Christians to join in building a just economy within ecological limits. Led by Green Christian.
• A Passion for the Earth – a joyous interactive event to help us reflect on our calling to care for the Earth, led by Riding Lights Theatre Company. Everyone joins in this powerful performance-cum-act of worship: we supply the words and music, you create the chorus of colourful creation voices crying out for the healing of our planet.
• Green Christian Way of Life – a workshop exploring how a four-fold framework of Prayer, Living Gently on the Earth, Public Witness and Encouragement can shape our journey together.

The Giftery, Recycle Project, fairtrade and more to be confirmed
• Prayer and Worship
Join us in hope, thoughtfulness, creativity and prayer as we make lasting connections to support faith-based climate action in York.
