Green Guardians (with children in mind)

Refrain:
All things bright and beautiful,
All creatures great and small;
God made us to keep them safe,
so let’s protect them all.
1. Each little flower that opens
feeds bees and butterflies,
so pollen goes by airmail
to plants of every size.
Refrain:
2. Our gardens can be havens
for birds and hedgehogs too;
they’ll eat the slugs and beetles
that we could never chew!
3. Our waterways and duckponds
make homes for frogs to breed,
with microscopic algae
that baby tadpoles need.
4. God gave us eyes to see them,
and hearts to love them too.
Let’s care for his creation,
which includes both me and you!
